While language abilities and other skills deteriorate during the Alzheimer's disease process, research shows that music processing remains largely intact. Many individuals living with Alzheimer's disease will demonstrate challenging behaviors at some point in the disease process and most caregivers do not have training on how to deal with these behaviors. The Music Intact™ program was developed by a board-certified music therapist to teach home-based caregivers how to use music to reduce challenging behaviors.
Music Therapy informed online education to teach you specific interventions to address specific behaviors.
Individual consultation with a board-certified music therapist to address your specific concerns and questions.
Support groups with other caregivers who are using the program.
